6. Late RAVI-Kunst
5. June 2020
RAVI-Kunst was a 1940ies to 1970ies manufacturer of German Wall Figures located in Hamburg, in the north of Germany. Besides the Wall Plaques there were also very lovely jumping jacks. Ravi-Kunst came up with many motives that you do not find among Hellerkunst or Mertens Kunst items, for example a weather prophet dwarf with a huge toadstool hat. The name Ravi-Kunst comes from the surnames of the two young women who founded it, Erna Rath and Lisa Viertel.
On this page you’ll find the “younger” Ravi-Kunst products without the white paper stripe with the title on the back. Many of them also don’t have the stamp with the juggling dwarf on the back anymore.
