INFO Motive / Engel und religiöse Motive: Religiöse Themen sind auf den historischen Kinder-Holzbildern kaum zu finden. Aber es gibt zwei Ausnahmen: Das ist zum einen das Thema Weihnachten / Bethlehem, besonders die Krippenszene mit Maria, Josef und Jesus. Das zweite sind die Engel, die von vielen nicht unbedingt mit einer Religion verbunden werden: Selbst viele nicht-religiöse Menschen schätzen die Engel als geliebte Schutz-Symbole.
