KURT SUESS, MARKANTE MOTIVE: Zu den ungewöhnlichsten Kurt-Süß-Wandfiguren gehört das 1960er “auferstehende” Schneewittchen im Glas-Sarg, umrankt von rosaroten Rosen. Die schönsten Farben hat wohl das sich räkelnde und lächelnde Dornröschen im weiß-gelben Kleid, neben ihr der kniende Prinz im royalblauen Hemd. Auffällig sind auch die drei Igel von Kurt Süß: Es ist einmal die klassische Hase-und-Igel-Figur mit dem Ziel-Schild, aber auch ein häusliches Igel-Paar mit langer Pfeife und Schürze, ähnlich wie die Mecki-und-Micki-Figuren aus den alten Hörzu-Zeitschriften.

🇬🇧 Kurt Suess, Special Motives: Among the most unusual Kurt Süß wood plaques is the “arising” Snow White from the 1960s in her glass coffin adorned with red and pink roses. The most beautiful colors has the lolling and smiling Sleeping Beauty in a white-yellow dress, again with roses and a prince next to her wearing a royal blue shirt. Typical of Kurt Suess are also their three hedgehog wood plaques, one with the classic fairy tale “The Hare and the Hedgehog”. But there is also a typical household couple with a hedgehog man smoking a long pipe and a hedgehog woman with an apron, like the Mecki and Micki Figures by the German Hörzu magazine. (4/5)
