HANDGEMALTE AUGEN: Die Augen dieser Figur wurden mit Hand gezeichnet. Auch der Rest der Figur ist handbemalt, aber das Zeichnen der Gesichter und der Hände war immer das Schwierigste. Es war in der Regel den besonders begabten Zeichnerinnen und Zeichnern der Manufaktur vorbehalten. Wenn man zwei Exemplare dieser Auflage vergleicht, wird man den Unterschied sehen: Besonders der Ausdruck der Gesichter ist oft sehr unterschiedlich. 🇬🇧 HAND-PAINTED EYES: The eyes of this figure were drawn by hand. The rest of the figure is hand-painted, too, but the drawing of the face and the hands was the most difficult part. More often than not this task was accomplished by by the most talented of the manufacturer’s staff. Especially the facial expression differs from one item to the next. If you compare two with the same motive, you will see the difference!
