INFO – ZUMPFE DRESDEN: Auf den Rückseiten dieser Vorkriegs-Manufaktur steht „Zumpfe Dresden WH Handarbeit“. WH steht für „Weißer Hirsch“, ein vornehmer Dresdener Stadtteil. Weiß jemand mehr über diese historische Manufaktur aus den 1930er und vielleicht auch 1940er Jahren? Ich kenne bisher nur eine Handvoll verschiedener Figuren, darunter ein reizendes großes Schneewittchen und ein wunderschönes Rapunzel.

🇬🇧 INFO – ZUMPFE DRESDEN: On the back of these (pre-war) wood pictures it says “Zumpfe Dresden WH Handarbeit“. WH stands for “Weisser Hirsch” which is a rather posh part of the city of Dresden. Does anyone know more about this manufactory that produced around the 1930s and 1940? I’ve only know a handful of their wood pictures so far, one of them being a smug Brave Little Tailor. (3/4)
