1940er Noah-Kunst: Peterchens Mondfahrt mit Silbermond und Nasenstupser, Handbemalt, Märchen-Holzbild 🇬🇧 1940s Noah-Kunst: Little Peter’s Journey to the Moon with Silver Moon and Nose Nudge, Hand-painted, German Wall Figure
NOAH-KUNST: Das Besondere an der Noah-Kunst (wohl 1940er Jahre) ist, dass oft Goldfarbe und Silberfarbe verwendet wurde, zum Beispiel bei der kleinen Froschkönig-Prinzessin mit der goldenen Kugel und den silbernen Schuhen, sowie beim Peterchens Mondfahrt mit dem silbernen Mond und dem niedlichem Nasenstupser. Vieles erinnert an die Holzbilder von Ingeborg Adam aus Lüneburg: Es wurden ähnliche kleine gestrichelte Linien gezeichnet und die Figuren sind ebenfalls eher klein und kompakt (dickeres Holz). Die Farben sind allerdings anders; doch falls der Stempel „Ingeborg Adam, Kunstgewerbe Lüneburg“ tatsächlich nur ein Kunstgewerbe-Geschäft bezeichnet und nicht den Hersteller, dann könnten die Ingeborg-Adam-Figuren eventuell tatsächlich Noah-Kunst sein. Der Name „Noah“ ist auf den Rückseiten-Stempeln nur schwer lesbar, es könnte auch „Noa-Kunst“ heißen. Der Name steht inmitten einer Zeichnung von einem Malerzwerg mit Farbpalette. 🇬🇧 NOAH-KUNST: The special thing about “Noah-Kunst” (presumably 1940s) is that gold paint and silver paint were often used, for example on the little Frog Prince princess with the golden ball and silver shoes and on the “Little Peter’s Journey to the Moon” with the silver moon and a cute poke nose. Many things are reminiscent of the wood plaques by Ingeborg Adam from Lüneburg: Similar small dashed lines were used and the figures are also rather small and compact (thicker wood). The colors are different though; but if the stamp “Ingeborg Adam, Kunstgewerbe Lüneburg” actually only refers to an arts and crafts store and not the manufacturer, then the “Ingeborg Adam figures” could actually be Noah-Kunst. “Noah” is difficult to read on the back stamps, it could also be “Noa-Kunst.” The name is in the middle of a drawing of a painter dwarf with a color palette.
