1930er Pavillon: Große Sammlung mit Peterchens Mondfahrt und „Wer hat die schönsten Schäfchen“, Handbemalt, Märchen-Holzbilder 🇬🇧 Antique Pavillon: Large Collection with Little Peter’s Journey to the Moon and “Who Has the Prettiest Little Lambs,” Hand-painted, German Wall Figures
PAVILLON: Von Pavillon stammt unter anderem die hübsche Froschkönig-Prinzessin mit dem Stufenrock und dem weißen Sockel mit gelben Ornamenten; vermutlich aus den 1940er Jahren. Der Rückseiten-Stempel ist recht aufwändig: Ein großer runder Stempel (teilweise zu groß für die Figuren, die oft nur 12 cm bis 14 cm hoch sind) mit einem schönen asiatischen Pavillon darin; darum herum die Wörter „Echtes Pavillon-Erzeugnis.“ Außerdem gibt es einen weiteren Stempel mit dem Wort „Handarbeit“. Ich kenne bisher sieben Holzbilder von Pavillon, zum Beispiel ein Fußballjunge, ein Mann mit Mondgesicht und Lamm (wohl zum Wiegenlied „Wer hat die schönsten Schäfchen“) und ein Peterchens Mondfahrt (eine Kopie von Ilse Schneiders Wandfigur aus den 1930er Jahren). Ein Wanderjunge mit einem großen Buch und eine Gänsemagd haben jeweils einen schönen originellen Sockel: ein breites grünes Blatt.
🇬🇧 PAVILLON: Pavillon (pavilion), was a producer of German Wall Figures presumably from the 1940s. They made for example a little Frog Prince princess with a tiered skirt and a white base with yellow ornaments. The green back stamp is quite ornate: round and large (sometimes too big for the figures, which are often only around 12 cm to 14 cm high) with a beautiful Asian pavilion; around it are the words “Genuine Pavilion Product” (translated). There is also another stamp with the word “Handarbeit” (handmade). I know seven wood plaques from Pavillon so far, for example a soccer boy, a man with a moon face and a lamb (probably from the German lullaby “Wer hat die schönsten Schäfchen”?) and a Little Peter’s Journey to the Moon (a copy of Ilse Schneider’s wall figure from the 1930s). A hiking boy with a big book and a goose girl each have a beautiful, original base: a wide green leaf. (Buch/25)
