1940s Unknown Producer ☆ Blue Star Money Girl in Round Frame

This is a difficult wood picture, although it looks so simple – the difficult part is telling who did it. The delicate lines and the colors remind of early Mertens-Kunst. But it might still be a hobby craft item because of the round frame (Graupner/Graubele used them in the beginning) and the rather crude fretwork part, but then, the style looks much more like Mertens. But they didn’t use round frames, as far as I know. Why bother with thinking and comparing? Because it’s so beautiful! (Round frame wood picture)
