ZUMPFE DRESDEN: Auf den Rückseiten dieser (Vorkriegs-) Manufaktur steht „Zumpfe Dresden WH Handarbeit“. WH steht für „Weißer Hirsch“, ein vornehmer Dresdener Stadtteil. Weiß jemand mehr über diese historische Manufaktur aus den 1930er und wohl auch 1940er Jahren? 🇬🇧 ZUMPFE DRESDEN: On the back of these (pre-war) wood pictures it says “Zumpfe Dresden WH Handarbeit“. WH stands for “Weisser Hirsch” which is a rather posh part of the city of Dresden. Does anyone know more about this manufactory that produced around the 1930s and 1940?
