Hellerkunst was founded in 1927 by Magda and Georg Heller. They became famous for their lovely Wooden Fairy Tale Wall Figures. „Hellerkunst“ was later simply called „Heller“ and it does still exist, led by the founding couples’ grandchildren Jan Heller and Sabine Heller. Take a look at their website and find their wonderfully detailed history of „Hellerkunst“ that also includes pictures of the artist family, starting with Magda and Georg Heller: hampelmann-holz-mobile.de They still produce and also seem to produce special order items. Very tempting and promising for those who can afford it. Maybe next year …
